I just love capturing those special bonds between pets and their owners and I think this comes across in my work. Being a horse person myself really helps me to understand what you are wanting to achieve from your photoshoots. I've done my time mucking out stables, trecking through the mud and getting thrown off horses into piles of stinging nettles (but that's a story for another day). So I truly understand the things we do for these animals and the bonds that develop. I feel so passionate about capturing memories and make sure every one of my clients goes home with photos they will cherish forever and never get bored of staring at. The moment I get the exact shot I was picturing in my head is the best feeling in the world, and snapping a photo I just know the client is going to love, is so exciting to me. I don't think that is a feeling I will ever tire of.
In December 2022 I was very close to losing my gorgeous horse, Arthur. He was sadly in an accident and at first, I didn't know if he was going to make it. It is times like these that really make you think about the good years you've had together and how important those memories are. I have hundreds of photos around my house that fill my heart with joy when I look at them, and for that I am so grateful.

A Walk Through of the Experience
The Planning Call
We will start with a 30 minute phone call where we go through our ideas for your shoot. We will discuss outfits and preparation as well as location and date. This is a chance for us to get to know each other, discuss your horses and talk about what you want to get out of your photoshoot. This is also your opportunity to ask me any questions and discuss any concerns you may have about the day. After the call I will send across my preparation guide and outfit inspiration.
The Photoshoot Day
I will arrive at the location of choice and scope out some backdrops and props we can incorporate into our session. I will meet your ponies and then the excitement begins! We will spend around two hours getting the perfect poses and the candid moments. I like to keep everything very relaxed and fun, and make sure you feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. I will show you a few of the photos straight from the camera and make sure you are completely happy before we wrap up the shoot.
The Viewing
Once I am home from your shoot I will upload and back up all of your images then crack on with editing. I will send you a few sneak peaks to keep the excitement alive. Allow up to two weeks for me to finalise your gallery and make sure everything is perfect for you. I will then send over an online galley for you to look though and select your favourite photos. We will go through all the options to display your images in your home and share with loved ones.
